Apple has completed its transition to iCloud Drive

Exactly a year ago in May 2021, Apple indicated in a support sheet posted on its website that iCloud Documents and Data, its former document synchronization service, would be replaced by iCloud Drive in May 2022. This transition is now complete, can we learn on the English version of this same page.

Users who have not previously activated iCloud Drive therefore no longer have access to this service: their account has been automatically migrated to iCloud Drive. This change comes just weeks away from WWDC 2022: it wouldn’t be surprising if Apple had set the stage for some new iCloud-related features to be launched later this year.
