It was one of the main places of life in Recey-sur-Ource, a town of around 350 inhabitants located in the Châtillonnais region. Until it closed more than ten years ago.
Jeanne Matuchet, last owner of the Station Hotel , made his apron “in the years 2010-2011” according to André Zarat, a resident of Recey passionate about local history. She will therefore have spent almost forty years managing the historic establishment, alongside her husband Georges. Located along the D 928 road, the place of life also served as a café, restaurant and multi-service shop.
“It’s a nice area with great potential”
The walls of the Station Hotel were bought last week by a couple from Châtillonnais, for around €20,000. They are Kamel Sabri, 45, and Karine Ribeiro, 39, who have been managing the business for eleven years. The Little Market in Leuglay. Kamel Sabri also travels to the surrounding municipalities…
