The Alesian restaurant Épices et Tout is still keeping its gourmet Bib for this year

The establishment has been satisfying many taste buds for almost ten years.

Opened in 2013, the Alesian restaurant Épices et Tout, avenue Carnot, is still on the list of Bib gourmands in the Michelin guide. A label obtained for the first time in 2016, and which has since never been lost by its chef Quentin Bonnet. “It remains for us a very good recognition of the profession”he comments with his wife Aurélie Bonnet, who manages the room service.

Establishment of around 25 seats per service, Épices et Tout is the only “Bib” restaurant in the Alesian area. Her “well-prepared kitchen”his “fresh products, and spices used with precision” justify this reward in the words of the guide.

“A Bib, for us, remains the best designation we need, continues Quentin Bonnet. It highlights the quality, the fresh products and the homemade that we want to share.”

A less restrictive decoration

But unlike a star, which also brings a lot of demands with fame, the Bib allows restaurateurs to maintain a certain freedom. “It doesn’t change our work mentality. We stay as we are.” The couple received their new Michelin guide panel at the same time as another restaurant near Alès.

Located in Les Vans, in Ardèche, the Likoké, founded by chef Pietr Huysentruyt and now run by his son Cyriel and his former second, chef Guido Niño Torres, retains this year its star earned eight years ago.
