The second round of the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship takes place this Saturday afternoon in Belgium. The Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps welcomes a field of 37 cars, including four prototypes in the Hypercar category. Victorious in the first round a few weeks ago in Florida, at the 1,000 miles of Sebring, and on an ongoing series of seven consecutive podiums in the premier category, the Berruyère Alpine Elf endurance team arrived in Belgium with the status leader of the world championship. On a circuit nicknamed the “slide of the Ardennes”, renowned for its gradients and technical bends placing the emphasis on the finesse of driving and settings, the Berruyère team tried to take advantage of the three free practice sessions to adjust the car according to the new balance of performance.
