The tragedy occurred while the young chef was riding a scooter in the 7th arrondissement of Paris shortly after 11 p.m. Stopped at a red light next to a VTC car, the young chef was hit by an Audi RS6 that an individual had just stolen from a restaurant chic of the capital, by giving a fake ticket to a valet.
“The driver of the scooter, Antoine Alléno, died on the spot. Suffering from multiple bruises, the passenger of the scooter and the driver of the VTC were transported to the hospital without vital prognosis”, reported our colleagues from Figaro. After causing the accident, the driver tried to flee on foot, but was eventually quickly arrested by the policereports RTL.

Antoine Alléno was the son of the chef Yannick Alleno and his ex-wife, Isabelle Alléno. His father came out of the silence via a press release published by Le Figaro. “It is with deep sadness that Chef Yannick Alléno, his mother Isabelle, his brother Thomas, his family, as well as the teams of the Yannick Alléno Group inform you of the death of their son, brother, colleague and friend, Antoine, victim of a road accident which occurred on the night of May 8 in Paris”, wrote the family of Antoine. “In this painful time“, Yannick Alléno and his family “are very sensitive to the benevolence and understanding of all, while respecting their privacy”.
According to the journalist from Point Aziz Zemmouri, the Paris prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for “manslaughter aggravated by the theft of the vehicle and the state of alcoholic impregnation of the defendant”. The driver was taken into police custody, and the investigation was entrusted to the Service for the judicial treatment of accidents (STJA) of the Paris police headquarters.
